Nitrous Oxide (N₂O)

YYP Distribution supplies high-purity, food-grade Nitrous Oxide for legitimate catering and culinary applications. Ideal for cream whippers, foams, espumas, and rapid infusions in cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and commercial kitchens.

• Sizes including 8 g chargers and 580 g cylinders for higher-volume operations.
• Compatibility with approved dispensers, regulators, and hoses as specified by the manufacturer.
• UK-wide delivery with age and purpose verification where required.
   

Note: N₂O has wider industrial and scientific uses, but YYP Distribution supplies only for lawful culinary and commercial food applications. We do not supply for recreational inhalation. Medical-grade supply is restricted to licensed institutions and is not fulfilled by YYP.

Although N₂O is non-flammable, it supports combustion and requires careful handling. YYP provides:

• Safety documentation and best-practice guides.
• Basic staff training resources for storage, changeover, and leak checks.
• Guidance on end-of-life handling and recycling routes where available.

• Store cylinders upright in a cool, dry, ventilated area away from heat and direct sunlight.
• Use only with compatible, well-maintained equipment and follow manufacturer instructions.
• Do not inhale. Misuse is dangerous and unlawful.
• Dispose of empties via approved recycling or waste streams in line with local guidance.

• Business screening and address verification may apply.
• We may decline deliveries to high-risk locations lacking clear business context.

• As of 8 November 2023, N₂O is a Class C controlled drug when misused. Legitimate culinary and catering use remains lawful.
• No licence is currently required for food use under the existing framework.
• Strictly no recreational use. Orders may be screened; high-risk transactions can be declined.
• At checkout you must confirm the purchase is for lawful catering or culinary purposes and that the purchaser is 18+.
